Dear God, Help me be my own hero. Show me how to muster the strength I need when I am weak and defeated. Guide me to the true path of honor not glory, pride without arrogance, and
confidence that serves and does not overwhelm. For all this, I pray, to You I give praise, O Holy One.

They say appreciation is the greatest form of prayer. Do You know, God, how deeply I appreciate You? Have I told You, showed You, emboldened myself by being grateful to You? I pray it now:

Help me guide and support my children. Let me be wise in my ways and a worthy role model. Fortify me, and I will share my strength. May the ones I love know the satisfaction that comes
from hard work rewarded. Praise to You, Loving God, who keeps families together in harmony, peace, and happiness forever.

Today I say a special prayer to ask the Lord above, to fill my heart and bless my soul, with the precious gift of love. I’m asking for sincere love, the kind that’s meant to stay, just
like the love God gives me, each and every day. I pray to find this cherished friend, humbly I request, for me to meet my soulmate and for God to send His best.

Dear God, May the nectar of kindness touch my lips as I speak, may I find in myself the vast blue sky of inclusiveness and may my hands turn the wheel of time toward a more just world, a
more beautiful world, a world worthy of my holy life. Larry Ward
