It may be distasteful to read a book by someone you disagree with, or to watch a television show with views counter to your own, but when you do, you're

Lord, I come before you today and need your healing power to heal my friend Ronn, that he may recover from his successful surgery. Lord, I pray that you will really comfort him in the days ahead as he copes with the pain. Heal him, Lord, and bring him peace.
