Dear God, Help me be my own hero. Show me how to muster the strength I need when I am weak and defeated. Guide me to the true path of honor not glory, pride without arrogance, and
confidence that serves and does not overwhelm. For all this, I pray, to You I give praise, O Holy One.

Sure, I have faith, but why am I being tested so often? I know You are a fair God, a generous God, a God who protects me. Yet, I struggle with the challenges and doubt Your purpose. Save
me from myself, O Holy One. Bless me with peace.

Dear God, Show me how to keep my child safe without holding back the freedom for her to have fun. Help me share in the joy of all he sees and hears, and all the experiences she learns
from. Let love and laughter fill our home as we enjoy Your gift of the parent-child bond. Amen

Dear God, Give strength to my weary soul. Refresh me with new energy. Keep my mind bright and open, my body healthy and willing, move these feet in a forward direction. Amen

Please God, Help me summon the moral courage to know what’s right and fair and to do what’s good and just. Praise to You, friend to the needy, defender of humanity.

Dear God, I accept this day, and the obligation to add to its brilliance. May I receive Your light and be its reflection upon my family and friends. Let my smile sparkle and my laugh have
luster. May the hope in my heart shine and dazzle all who cross my path, and may their souls be uplifted to see You, in all Your stunning glory.
