Every month that begins on a Sunday has a Friday the 13th.

Some historians have claimed it was the day on which Eve bit the apple from the Tree of Knowledge, the great flood began and the builders of the Tower of Babel.

It is unlucky to have thirteen at a table or in a company. The number 13, in the Christian faith, is the number of people at the Last Supper, with the 13th guest at the table being the traitor, Judas.

I'm not nearly as afraid of Friday the 13th as I am of the people who are afraid of Friday the 13th.

Today is Friday the 13th. It's gonna be another blessed day for God's people, just like every other day.

I fervently ask for prayers to help me resist alcohol and all other negative influences in my life. I pray for clarity to know the path God wants me to follow. I pray for courage to live life alone and to not inadvertently hurt other people by ungodly actions. I am afraid and alone and need God's Healing both physically and spiritually.
