Prayer of the Day

God, I want to surrender to the rhythm of music and sea, to the seasons of ebb and flow, to the tidal surge of love. I am tired of being hard, tight, controlled, tensed against tenderness, afraid of softness. I am tired of
directing my world, making, doing, shaping. Tension is ecstasy in chains. The muscles are tightened to prevent trembling. Nerves strain to prevent trust, hope, relaxation. Surrender is a risk no sane man may take. Sanity never surrendered is a burden no man may carry. God give me madness that does not destroy wisdom, responsibility, love.

Nehemiah 9:19 Because of Your compassion You did not abandon them in the desert. By day the pillar of cloud did not stop guiding them on their path, nor did the pillar of fire by night stop shining on their way.

God guides me on my path. I will get there when I get there, and I will get there safely.

I AM SO SORRY

God, I have court this Thursday and 2 other court hearings this month. I was addicted to heroin and did thing's that I would not have ever done before. I am by the grace of God clean now! But I have to face the consequences of my behavior for the things I did in the past to support my habit. I'm facing a Grand Theft trial and a Pedi theft case. I have a 5 year old daughter that already has separation anxiety from the past when I was caught and went to jail. I'm am so sorry for the things I did!
