The reason for the season? God. May you be blessed with a merry meaningful Christmas surrounded by people you love and God who loves you.

It’s not the same. Connecting with a friend on social media is different than connecting with a friend in the live world. May God bless you with true connection to people in your life who can hold you, help you, and love you
beyond any emoticon.

Pick the story you choose to tell about yourself, make it a good one, and live it, one page-turning chapter at a time. May God bless you with a bright beginning, a message in the middle and a very happy ending.

Been there done that. Experience is a worthy teacher. May you be blessed to try new things, to go places you’ve never been before, and to learn from your adventures.

We live in a serious world with daunting problems. But God blessed you with a sense of a humor large enough to share with people around you. Laugh it up. Smile your way through it. Your cheerful outlook makes happiness happen.

Q-CARD

Bless me Oh Lord, On this holy day I ask for peace to exceed my expectations. I ask to know true joy beyond material possessions. I ask for love that knows no boundaries. I ask for strength which comes from my faith in You.

This prayer is for love. For the love between two soulmates. For love from adoring family. For love from God and love of God. This is the love I pray to be blessed with. Amen

Dear God I am in emotional pain. My head aches with the worries, my body is heavy with despair. Hold me in Your healing arms and soothe me. Recovery will soon be mine. Amen

Heavenly Father, Today I stand before you with humility. I am in awe of Your grandeur, amazed at Your works. In this spirit I ask You to consider my request. Forgive me for I am not always good. Love me for I am often lonely. Have
mercy on me for I am in need of a change of fortune. Amen

Dear God, I am weighing my choices. Should I choose the safe choice or the inspired one? Do I choose the one that keeps me closest to You or the one where I will need to stand on my own? Help me be clear and objective. Help me take
advantage of my strengths and passion. Help me choose well. Amen

I stand tall and in awe before an audience of One.

Just for today, I will seek to live the day positively without wishing to solve the problems of my life all at once.

I will allow the light of Christmas to shine upon me, warm me, and enlighten me.

I will not allow myself to exaggerate my mate’s failures and inadequacies, or to let suspicion and jealousy take hold in our relationship. I will not allow myself to indulge in self-pity, nor will I allow myself to think I am better
than anyone else or entitled to more than I already have. Though I may be disappointed and I may be discouraged, and I may be yearning for things to be different in our relationship, I will stay in the fight. I will use kindness as my sword, understanding as my shield, and patience to rebuild the love we once shared.
