Comfort and luxury are "nice to haves" in life. But what you really need, in order to be happy, is something to be enthusiastic about. May you be blessed with the essentials in life and the extras too. God is your provider
of all things. Now that's something to get excited about!

When "I can't" becomes your first reaction...you know it's time for change. Kick away the negative crutch you use to protect yourself. It doesn't work. May you be blessed to step firmly into your most joyful truth:
"I can."

Happiness is not the absence of problems, it's the ability to deal with them. May you be blessed with coping skills that overcome all hardship.

May you be blessed to live your values every day. Not just when it's convenient, or someone is watching you. Not only when it feels right or comes easy — but always. After all, if you don’t stick to your values when they’re being
tested, they’re not really values, they’re merely hobbies to dabble in when the whim strikes you. You're so much better than that.

Happiest are those who learn from nature, the lesson of worship. May you be blessed with awe today. Praise God, give thanks to God, and know God, as you appreciate nature's gifts which surround you.

Lord, Keep me from the habit of thinking I must say something on every subject and on every occasion. Keep my mind free from the recital of endless details, nudge me when it’s time to get to the point. I ask for grace enough to
listen to the tales of others’ pains. Help me to endure them without groaning. Seal my lips on my own aches and pains, they are increasing and my love of rehashing them is becoming more irresistible as the years go by. Keep me reasonably sweet. I don’t want to be a saint – they’re too hard to live with, but a sour old person is one of the crowning works of a life gone astray. Help me to keep my ears open and my mouth shut. With my vast store of wisdom, it seems a pity not to use it all-but hold
me back, It would be good to have a few friends at the end.
