Oh God! How wonderful it is to wake up in the morning with the realization that anything is possible. I take in the abundance that surrounds me and I know; things are not only possible, but probable. The chances for substantial good are unlimited with Your help.

If you were given $40 on the condition that you had to spend it on something that would make you really happy, what would you do with the money? Some people might go shopping, others would treat themselves to dinner or a movie, a few might even donate to cause. But what about using that $40 to "buy" yourself more free time?


According to a study published in the journal PNAS, people who buy time by paying someone to complete household tasks are more satisfied with life. And it’s not just wealthy people. Across a range of incomes, careers and countries, time saving purchases were correlated with less time-related stress and more positive feelings.

An elderly woman had just returned to her home from church. She truly felt the presence of the Holy Spirit around her as she entered the front door of her home.

Upon entering the house, she was immediately startled by an intruder. As she caught the man in the act of robbing her home of its valuables, she yelled, "Stop mister! Acts 2:38!"  

The burglar stopped in his tracks and stood motionless with his back to her as she calmly called the police and told them she had a burglar in her house who was willing to turn himself in.

As the officer cuffed the man to take him in, he asked the burglar,
"Why did you just stand there? All the old lady did was yell a scripture to you."

"Scripture!" replied the burglar. "I swear I heard her say she had an Ax and Two 38's!

Knowing scripture can save your life in more ways than one!
