When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears. You can do it. You can speak up. You can stand up to them and say, "wait," when they cross the line. Be a leader, it's part of who you are, because it's who you ought to be. May you be blessed to be an inspiration to those around you. LIFE LESSON'S FROM THE "LOVABLE LOSERS"
"...there will be times when everything you have been wanting, everything you
have worked for, everything you have earned, everything you feel you deserve is snatched away in what seems like a personal and unfair blow. This, I will tell them, is called life."

I'm going to tell you just one baseball story. It's a bit long, but don't worry you'll like the ending… unless you happen to be from Cleveland, in which case I am truly
sorry! The story is about a very important game -- Game Seven of last year's World Series -- but has little to do with the actual outcome of the game.
For those who don’t follow baseball: a little background. I work for the Chicago Cubs, a team with a following so loyal and adoring and a history so forlorn that we were known nationwide as the "Loveable Losers". God sees you as you truly are: gloriously clothed in His righteousness. Be delighted for you are special, you are worthy, you are adored by God.

I can't afford to keep helping my mentally ill homeless friend. I'm unemployed and living with my parents and can't take her in. The paranoia that comes with her disease makes her frightened of going to homeless shelters,
and she has no protection from the elements. I've started staying up all night and wandering the streets so that she can sleep in my car. I don't know how much longer I can do this. I'm scared of what will happen to her if I stop though. Please pray for God's provision. - anonymous |
