You don't have to be a mathematician to count what counts. May you be blessed to number your days with a heart filled of gratitude. Count your blessings. Count to appreciate. Count to savor. Count what matters. Count each day as a gift from God.

Have you ever waited for a friend? As you wait, your focus is on the people walking by who are not your friend.

A man walks by. You look up. Not him.

A couple walks in. You look up. Not your friend.

When you wait for someone, your mind focuses on their absence...on the absence of the person you await. They are constantly on your mind even though you cannot see them.

Consider your faith.  You play the waiting game with God too. In His seeming absence, God actually becomes more present.

God's presence becomes more acute as you urgently search for Him.  The struggle helps you become more patient. More filled with faith. Closer to God.

I would like to request prayers for a family who lost their son (15 y/o) in a freak truck accident. He fell out of the back of a truck, hit his head in just the right place and the Lord took him home immediately. It was so sudden. He was practically ripped from them. They are good people. They have a lot of faith in the Lord but they are suffering dearly. Please pray that the Lord would ease the pain and comfort them. Thank you
