Dear Prayables Community, This passage touched my heart today and reminded me that there is blessing in being a blessing. Please read this miraculous account. :-) My prayer request is that we would be willing to be that person that God can use to sustain others during the tough times. Yes, this is difficult and may stretch our faith BUT there is someone or someones who needs what God has entrusted you with. And God will certainly
provide you continuously to do what He commands of us. The silver and the gold belongs to him. The cattle upon a thousand hills are His. You, me, all of us can be used by God in ways we think are insignificant or seems impossible given our own needs. And yes, our needs are important. But remember, our labors in the Lord will not be in vain. Heavenly Father, Bless us with eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts ready for others who need what you have provided us to share. Your feeding of the five
thousand was about many things including the message:"You feed them" and the word to Moses in Exodus 4:2: "What's in your hand."
Lord, You have already given each one of us something to start the river of blessings. As we pour into other lives, may we know and live the end of the widow's account here: The flour was not exhausted and the oil didn't run dry.... All this so that we may continue to be your hands and feet, the one's you have called to sustain others in their needs both naturally and spiritually. amen.
