If you can’t do what
you do, do what you can.

When you encounter a special someone who is radiant, upbeat, and intensely focused on you, you can be sure that someone has a generous soul. May you be blessed to have people in your life who freely share their spirit; heart, and soul.

NEW WAYS TO WORSHIP IN COMMUNITY AND STAY SAFE

“A whole new liturgy is being created. People are writing prayers,”
It was the last day of a 19-day period of daytime fasting for Baha’i believers all over the world. The Washington area’s Baha’i community would have ordinarily been looking forward to joining at night to feast in celebration and welcome in the Baha’i new year.
Instead, alone in their kitchens and bedrooms and living rooms on Thursday afternoon, they opened up a Skype window.
The sounds of religious worship these days are intermingled with the vocabulary of conference calls: “Try to mute your microphone.” “You’re frozen.” “I can’t seem to turn my camera around.” “I have to hop off.”
In a matter of days, religious congregations across the country have learned how to go virtual. Churches that never had a camera in the sanctuary before are live-streaming services. Elderly members who never miss a Wednesday night Bible study are becoming adept instead at morning prayer calls by Zoom. Close-knit communities are keeping each others’ spirits up by seeing each others’ faces in pixel form and singing together, headphones in their ears.

Last week we shared a wonderful quote by Shannon Adler: Fear is the glue that keeps you stuck. Faith is the solvent that sets you free.
We received a welcome message from our Prayables friend Tom Murphy who made it even better: ...and humility is the WD 40.
Thank you Tom!

HEAL US FROM OUR DISAPPOINTMENT
Our heart is broken! A wonderful friend my daughter and I have bonded with in the last 4-5 years, has withdrawn his life from us. Apparently, we have been replaced for someone who he has met, and after being together 1 week, he says he is” In Love”!! My daughter and I are in shock as we have all become a close spiritual family, who loves God and prays and worships together! It has been shocking to get a message from him with a video saying that he will never
forget us! We are assuming that maybe our friendship wouldn’t be acceptable by his new girlfriend. We continue to have many questions, we feel like maybe there was only a place for us when he was without a relationship. We hope that we continue to trust people who try to get close to us! We do not have many spiritual adults in our life, and we hope that eventually we become close again to another Christian adult. I have protected my daughter from so many rude adults, and family members! I let my
guard down and let him get close to our hearts like family! Please pray that we heal from the pain and loss of this dear friend. That the peace of God remains in our hearts. That our dear friend remembers our wonderful memories, that we will treasure forever.
