Don't be so full of yourself that there is no room left for God.

Are you waiting? Waiting for the perfect time. Waiting for the best possible situation. Waiting to meet exactly the right person. May you be blessed to live imperfectly. Start now. Toss aside your hesitation. Patience is a virtue, but action is Divine.

MATRIARCH WHO FOSTERED 52 JEWS AND ARABS ENCHANTS ISRAEL WITH BLESSING OF PEACE
Marie Nahmias spent her life raising unwanted, disabled children after ‘God heard her prayer’ for her wounded soldier son. Lighting Independence Day torch, she enthralled a nation.
Throughout her lifetime, Maria Nahmias offered tenderness and support to 52 foster children on the margins of society, as well as eight children of her own. Recently, a nation gasping for serenity got a small taste of the all-encompassing love she offered to those that needed it most over the years.
Lighting a torch at the 71st Independence Day celebrations on Mount Herzl, the “mamo” (“mother” in Tunisian-accented French) of Afula managed to bring together fractured, quarrelsome Israel in a way few others could. Her appearance appeared to spark a rare moment of national unity that has been praised for breaking through traditional divides in Israeli society.
The honor, one of the highest acts of recognition Israeli society can confer, was given to the 93-year-old great-great-grandmother for an almost unbelievable feat: quietly, and far from the public eye, taking into her home dozens of children no one else wanted — children abandoned by terrified parents in hospitals because they were born with physical deformities and diseases.
Almost 80 years ago Nahmias, 17 and going by the name Marie Sabah, fled Nazi thugs who hunted Jews in the streets of Tunisia during the German occupation from November 1942 ...READ MORE

Dear Readers, Linda was upset after reading the feature: What Happened After My Thirteen Year Old Joined the Alt Right. I found the
story to be disturbing, yet hopeful in a way that compelled me to share it. While Prayables does not promote any one political view, we do promote tolerance and are clearly opposed to groups that promote hate. In this article, the author expressed a political viewpoint disparaging the President. I wish that she did not include her opinion - the story was good enough to stand on its own. But, I also do not believe is censorship because of one's politics and that's why my final decision was
to run the feature.
FROM LINDA: I read Prayables for daily calm, prayer, and devotion. Today's Feature Story written by an anonymous person, devastated by the 2016 election, is full of hate and violence. What parent of a 13 year old child allows him or her full internet access to the point of absurdity? The point of this story did not have to be made in the bed of such obvious political bias. I could go on and on. I can get such stories in the news daily, if I so desired.
FROM SUSAN: Hi Linda, I am so sorry you are upset. I understand your point of view and I was equally upset about the story. Yet, I chose to share the article because of the raw emotion I felt while reading it. I believe it can be spiritually healthy to be knocked out of a comfort zone. That being said, I do value your trust in Prayables to be an oasis of calm. I will try to be more careful with my selections in the future. Please accept my apology. God bless.
