I need prayer that I forgive my mother. I was taken from her due to horrible abuse due to alcohol and drugs. I have been healed of many things that followed because I believed I was worthless. Shes a Christian now, clean, sober but still cant love me. I recently went to texas to visit for the 1st time not seeing her for many years and my brother 24 yrs. The minute she looked at me it was as if another person appeared. the whole time I was there the disrespect and put downs began and after 10 yrs of Pressing into God I finally forgave her for my childhood and fell in love with me. I felt a new kind of hate and anger rise up from within me recently and I cant let Satan or her have that power! She doesnt love me because she cant love herself however it ignites the mom in me of how can a mother purposely hurt and almost destroy there own child? please pray. I have to forgive.
