PRAYERS FOR PEACE OF MIND

I got married when I was 18 and divorced at 20. We were toxic, hateful and harmful to each other for 20 years. Our 2 children never knew us to be kind to each other. At 40, we began talking, we became friends, we forgave each other which lead us to become in a committed relationship. It was an amazing 4 years. This last week he decided to leave me. I’m having a hard time understanding why God would bring someone back into my life just for him to walk away… again? He has a lot of mental anguish stemming from his childhood. He was placed in foster care and went through every form of trauma you can think of. He says he’s at the point where he has no emotions, feelings and feels like he’s drowning. He has closed himself off from me. please pray for him and for him to open his heart and accept the Lord. I need prayers for peace.
