Children are the greatest gift God gave the world and the heaviest responsibility. May the next generation be blessed to drink freely of God's Word, learn the values needed to live a moral life, and have powerful faith to always guide and sustain them.

Dear God. May I traverse life's uphill moments with sincere effort, and unbounded enthusiasm, knowing I will coast easily as I approach the
other side. Your plan for me is never straight and easy, yet it is always the right one. Praise God who provides the way, every day.

I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.

THIS INSPIRATIONAL WOMAN HAS A STORY TO TELL

Betty Reid Soskin, the country’s oldest active ranger in the National Park Service, retired Thursday at 100 years old.

Over the past decade and a half, Soskin has shared with parkgoers her personal experiences and the efforts of women from diverse backgrounds who worked on the World War II Home Front. She has led tours and public programs, sharing her experiences and observations at the Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park in Richmond.

Soskin, who celebrated her 100th birthday in September, spent her last day providing an interpretive program to the public and visiting with coworkers, according to a statement from the Park Service.

WE NEED A MIRACLE

My abusive ex plans to move our precious children over 1000 away from us and we will need a miracle to prevent it from happening. I have been fighting to regain custody of them for years after taking them to a domestic violence shelter and subsequently having my parental rights wrongfully taken from me.

My children are afraid. I am exhausted and losing hope. Every time we go back to court I lose more rights. The system is failing my children.

Their little half-sibling will be devastated and likely traumatized if they are allowed to disappear from our lives. My 13-year-old son weighs under 70 pounds and I have no medical decision-making rights so cannot take him to a different specialist for other treatment options. There are numerous things wrong with this situation.

We need a miracle. Please pray for my children. Pray for the judge. Pray for my lawyer. I need prayers for strength and courage. We need a Miracle…
