The world is a small place. As humanity expands, there is no room for baseless hatred. Old prejudices, old belief patterns, old ways of thinking do not serve your fellow man, do not serve you, and do not serve God. May you be blessed to send out the old and welcome the new. Form new habits, welcome the stranger, and embrace a new world.

Rethink all that junk in your head about good luck and bad luck. Superstitions blow. There’s no evidence that walking under a ladder will bring you bad luck. Or, a four-leaf clover will bring you good luck. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Instead, dabble a swirl of common sense with a dollop of faith and enjoy your blessings today.

The best parts of your life will be the small nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you. May you be blessed to enjoy a weekend filled with giggles, grins, and genuine affection.

O Guardian of life and liberty, may our nation always merit Your protection. Teach us to give thanks for what we have by sharing it with those who are in need. Keep our eyes
open to the wonders of creation, and alert to the care of the earth. May we never be lazy in the work of peace; may we honor those who have died in defense of our ideals. Grant our leaders wisdom and forbearance. May they govern with justice and compassion. Help us all to appreciate one another, and to respect the many ways that we may serve You. May our homes be safe from affliction and strife, and our country be sound in body and spirit. Amen.

I take a moment now to relax. I take a relaxation break by being aware of Your holy presence. I allow the chair to support me, I feel the tension leaving my body. I take a
deep breath and breathe deeply. I allow Your Spirit to fill my lungs and spread through my body. I exhale slowly and completely. I clear my mind and take this moment of silence to bask in Your presence. Thank You God for allowing me this spiritual break today.

I finally sense the grace that is in my grasp every day. It is here. When it’s frigid, when it’s bleak, when I’m joyous. It is here. When health suffers, when loved ones pass,
when I’m grateful. It is here. When hearts ache, when fear festers, when I’m content. It is here. It is here, because You, dear God, are here.

Thank You, for the joy I find in living. You are the very life within me. I rejoice in this life, for it is everlasting, invigorating, and delightful. Thank you, for the joy I
find in loving. I feel and express Your love, which is within me and all about me. Thank you, for the joy of caring. I care for people everywhere. I care in a positive, feeling way. Thank you, for the joy of sharing. You enable me to share my inner possession of light and love and to share my outer possessions. Praise to You who brings me joy in living, loving, caring and sharing.
