Prayer without faith is like tossing a message in a bottle, throwing it out to sea, and hoping someone finds it. May God bless you to toss your doubts aside instead. Pray with confidence, be firm in your faith, with love for God in your heart.

world where brokenness can make me whole.

Dear Friends, do you think you’ll get anywhere in this world if you learn all the right words but never do anything? Does merely talking about
faith indicate that a person really has it? For instance, you come upon an old friend dressed in rags and half-starved and say, “Good morning, friend! Be clothed in God! Be filled with the Holy Spirit!” and walk off without providing so much as a coat or a cup of soup—where does that get you? Isn’t it obvious that God-talk without God-acts is outrageous nonsense?

There is a way up toward the better world we have seen in our dreams, but these stairs won't build themselves.

My Best Friend.

I’m going through a very difficult time in my relationship with my best friend. We have been best friends for three years now and I want to marry him, but he still cannot commit to a relationship with me. I am heartbroken and I feel like I need to let him go. Please pray for me to completely surrender this to God and leave it in his hands, rather than trying to control the situation and make something happen.
