Dear God, Guide their hands, enlighten their minds, and enable the people who have the wisdom and skill to heal and help my suffering loved
one. I understand there are laws of nature that must run their course. You are the source of creation, and if it is Your will, my loved one will get better. Praise to You, God, the holy Healer.

Reflection on healing prayers:

"It's not that I'm asking God to intervene directly and cause my [loved one's] body to change physiologically. I pray to ask the people to whom God has given wisdom. I believe there are laws of nature and that those laws run their course. Whatever happens in nature has already been set in motion, and God does that. God doesn't come and change the laws of nature after the fact. If God is the source of all creation, then the things in life that aren't so great have their source in God, too."

CAPTURING GOD'S NATURAL WONDERS

We're used to seeing sparkling blue, green, and crystal waters, but sometimes, nature throws a curveball. Located on the west coast of Australia is a candy-colored body of water called Hutt Lagoon. It is a saltwater lake that derives its pink color from the carotenoid-producing algae Dunaliella salina, a food-coloring agent and source of vitamin A.

Russian photographer Kristina Makeeva—who is known for her fairytale fashion photography—sought out this special sight and captured its pastel rosy beauty in a new series.

“I dreamed about the pink lake for a long time, and it turned out to be better than in my dreams,” Makeeva tells My Modern Met. “Pools with different shades of red, pink, and sometimes yellow and blue. Pink salt on the shore, which glitters like snow—it looks like abstract paintings. Nature and its colors, in this case, did the magic.”

PRAYING FOR GOOD HEALTH

Thank you for your prayers. My brother and his children have recovered from Covid and are now healthy. My aunt has recovered and is now resting at home. I now ask for a prayer for my two sisters. God, please heal them from their ailments. My sister Cora is recovering from a bad car accident and my sister Tina is feeling that she may be sick. I pray that they both have good health and a long and happy life. God bless each one of you who prays for others.
