Dear God. Just in case I haven’t told you lately…thank you for all You have given me and for all I am about to receive.

And it all drifts back to prayer. The random thought, the judgemental observation. The yearning, the disappointment. It all drifts back to prayer. The achievement, the celebration. It all
drifts back to prayer. Your presence, and guidance, reassurance, and strength. It all drifts back to prayer.

Dear God, help me make today new without a repeat of yesterday’s failings. Show me how to resist temptation, focus on necessary things, and avoid the folly of negative thinking. Guide me
to healthful, happy living.

Whisper softly. Let me hear Your gentle voice. Tell me how to banish my fears. How to stand up to pain. How to let go of my insecurities. Speak, and I will listen.

Help me see the signs, dear God. Place the unexpected in my path. Open my heart to the wonders in front of me. Grace me with belief, hope, and delight in all that my eyes behold.
