Dear God, Remind me each day that, of all the gifts you give me, the greatest gift is love. It is not enough to share my love with those I hold dear. Open my heart to the old
couple who held up the line while counting their change. To the homeless man asking for money who is a slave to his addictions. To the clueless server at the coffee shop who is a struggling student worried about a tuition bill that’s due. Help me be slow to judge, abundantly patient, and generous with my love.

Heartily I hope, devotedly I pray, these troubles of mine will soon pass away. With hard feelings for none, and forgiveness to all, what looms large now will quickly be small.
Help me to get past the challenges, Your test. I promise, dear God, to give You my best.

Dear God, show me the grace in growing older; living with my aches and pain, being gentle to myself when I forget, and knowing it’s okay to have a little more help from the
people who love me.
