Henry Ford once called upon an efficiency expert to go through his plant. He said, “Find the non-productive people. Tell me who they are, and I will fire them.”
After touring the plant and studying all the individuals doing their jobs, the expert reported, “Every
time I walk by this one employee’s door, he is sitting with his feet propped up on the desk. When I go in, he stands, shakes hands, we exchange a few words; and when I leave, he props his feet upon his desk again. The man never does a thing.” When Ford learned the name of the man he said, “Well, I can’t fire him. He is my most productive employee. I pay him to do nothing but think.”
We need to think more
using the wisdom of God. One of the main problems of human beings today is that we don’t think enough. In religion, life, politics, and society – too often we do only as we are told. We fought years ago for our independence, and yet many have given up the great power of individual thinking. You need to think more about everything and make your own decisions with the help of God.
