Law of Attraction
Definition: The belief that positive thoughts are magnets for positive life experiences and negative thoughts are magnets for negative
life experiences.
Based on the law of attraction, if you have a specific desire and focus joyfully on that desire, it will be fulfilled.
There was a very angry woman we'll call Betty. No matter where she went, she met and had to deal with, angry people. She could not understand why people were always so mean to her. When she
first was told about the Law of Attraction, she was in denial that she was the exact way of the people that she met on a daily basis. To prove the theory wrong, she decided to live her life as an experiment - smiling, and being kind to every person she met over a month long period. This was not an easy task for her, because attitudes are like habits that are learned over a long period of time.
This
seemingly simple exercise transformed her life. She started to meet kind considerate people everywhere she went. This eventually transformed her from inside out, and she learned a new habit of not being angry. She learned a habit of loving instead of hating.
There was a young man we'll call Bob. He was extremely distrusting of everyone, and of course no one trusted him. He decided to test the Law of
Attraction by placing his trust in those that he came in contact with. This habit of trust took a bit longer to develop in Bob, but develop it - he did! He said the difference was almost miraculous in the way people were trusting him. He was approved for a home loan that he had tried for unsuccessfully for the preceding two years.
His employers trusted him enough to pick him as the manager over a large
territory, noting in his promotion that they had noticed a tremendous growth within him in the preceding months. One note said in his file, there was something different about him, that could be felt more than seen.
What you are attracting to you is often a mirror of who you are inside. This is often a soul wake-up call, for you to expand and grow into better people. Even the thoughts held in mind change your
energy that can be felt by others.
Decide to send forth the finest positive energies constantly. Be steadfast in promoting a positive life and do not grow weary in your own well-doing.
