Just as a
rabbit's foot doesn't really bring you good luck, Friday the 13th doesn't really mean bad luck either. What does luck have to do with it? Not a darned thing. Good fortune is a blessing from God. You can invite it in, you can pray for it, you can recognize it when it arrives. But the reverse just doesn't hold true. Bad fortune is neither a punishment nor a curse. It just is. God gave you life and the circumstances that come with it. Be thankful for
it.
