A problem-free life is an illusion. Nobody has ever had it and nobody ever will. If you pray for an end to the difficulties, you're only creating false hope. Instead pray for the strength to overcome. Pray for understanding. Pray that you will respond to your trials with Divinely inspired reactions. May you be blessed with truly beneficial prayer that enables you to enjoy life even under the worst of circumstances.

Please pray my son stops being an addict and that this 4th detox/sober living works for him. Please pray that God touches his heart and releases the demon of the addiction. Please pray my child looks to God for everything— strength and courage to battle this addiction. Pray this treatment facility works for him. Pray for the people that work there that even just one of them can connect with my child in a way no one else has before. Please pray I don't lose my child to addiction.

I have been in my alcohol and drug addiction for many years. I first got introduced to marijuana at the young age of 12 years old to the age of 48 years. I've tried NA (Narcotics Anonymous) in my late thirties, early forties and I had a great sponsor but in my recovery he suffered a heart attack and died and I went back out.

The beauty of this is that I made the decision to turn my will and life over to the care of the ONE who could help me and every other person in this dark world of ours. The LORD.

I read scripture every day and I do what the steps say to do (I surrender EVERYDAY and I keep in CONSCIOUS CONTACT with Him EVERYDAY) it's not a easy thing to do...! Life is truly simple, human beings just tend to make it complicated..!

I involve myself with positive people and it results in positive action taken..! there are only two PATH'S to life the RIGHT WAY or the WRONG WAY, THERE'S NO MIDDLE GROUND...! It's a choice I make.
