Do you ever wish you had a bouncer for your brain? A big tough guy would come in handy when your mind begins to stumble in to the trouble zone. Well, you do have protection from evil inclinations and negative thoughts - it's called prayer. May you be blessed with awareness of a wandering mind that needs to be brought back to the path of right thinking. Next time you notice your thoughts straying, immediately give thanks to God. Your prayer of gratitude packs a big punch.

The safe recovery of baby Sofia Gonzales on her eighth day of life early Saturday morning in a Dallas house was an answer to many prayers, a close friend of the family said.

But officials and loved ones alike acknowledged there’s no escaping the bittersweet feeling brought on by the reality that Sofia has lost her mother.

“This is the best possible outcome to a very sad case,” Wichita Police Chief Gordon Ramsay said in announcing that Sofia had been found Saturday morning and was in good health. READ MORE

Update. My aunt and uncle that were hit by a semi my aunt is home doing well. My uncle is still in the hospital but he is doing better. He has a long way to go I know without the power of prayer he wouldn't have made it this far. I want to thank everyone for praying and please keep the prayers coming.
