Today's Story

THE BODY. THE HEART. THE INNERMOST PART

God created the intricate bodies before the minds.

God created the conscious minds before the hearts.

God created the innermost spirits before the breaths.

God then breathed life into humankind in the garden of intimate fellowship and kept them all in union with Himself.

He tested them and sent prophets, until each began to seek its own station.

The body occupied itself with prayer, the heart attained to love, the spirit arrived at proximity to its Lord, and the innermost part found rest in union with Him.

Scripture of the Day

A new prayer should be said every day.

Just for Today, an Affirmation

Humility is a quality of being courteously respectful of others. It is the opposite of aggressiveness, arrogance, boastfulness, and vanity. Rather than, "Me first," today I will say, "No, you first, my friend."
