As a child I had poilo, but recovered for the most part and led a normal life. Now I have post-polio syndrome. I can no longer climb stairs, have falls, pain, etc. And this is causing me to be afraid to go out and live my life, and afraid of where this going. I want to have faith, bold and sensible faith, and I to live in Gods grace, not inside this fear, which cripples me more than anything. I've never asked for prayers before...Thank you so much.

A great nineteenth century sage shares this story:

"When I was young, I wanted to change the world. I tried, but the world did not change. So I tried to change my town, but my town did not change. Then I turned to my family, but my family did not change. Then I realized: in order to change the world, first I must change myself."

And so it is with you. If you want to affect change, start within. Change yourself for the better and watch the world change before your very eyes.
