Weight Loss: How to Get Over the Hump
It's Wednesday and that means it's hump day. Mid-week motivation is hard to come by, until now. Your body is God's temple. Honor it with healthy eating and
wholesome exercise.
1. Eat half and add filler.
Cut your usual portions in half. Literally, take a knife cut your food down the middle and put the other half away. Out of sight. When you're done with the main meal start a new veggie course. Salad, carrotts, anything high fiber that takes a lot of chewing.
2. Be active.
Walk instead of ride. Be sporty and take part in a fun type of game-focused exercise. Jump on the Yoga or Pilates bandwagon and shape up.
3. Apply an under five rule.
Read labels, check out ingredients and don't eat food with 5 or more
ingredients. That means no fast foods and that means no diet pop. Snack on fruits and vegetables. Drink water. 'Nuff said.
Remember, being on a diet is not forever, but changing the way you eat changes everything for the rest of your new and God-honored life.
