Don't put a period on your prayer this morning. Amen is typically used at the end of prayers to add a little something extra - so be it, I believe it to be true, I want it to be so. Try mixing it up today. Instead of closing your prayer with a spiritual period, leave it wide open for a prayer that goes on and on. May you be blessed to pray without ceasing today. Rejoice always, in everything give thanks.

My brother became mentally ill this past year and it has been heart-breaking and difficult to bear. My son and I have supported him for the past year emotionally and spiritually, but his illness is beginning to take it's toll on us as well. Please pray for my son's well-being and spiritual/mental protection and a new joy-filled path for his life, Healing for my dear brother and a place to call home for me; a sanctuary of healing and peace.
