Prayables | 3 good questions

Only God can turn a mess into a message, a test into a testimony, a trial into a triumph, a victim into a victory, a problem into a prayer.
Your Daily Blessing                     Friday December 4, 2015
A chef needs to learn chopping, sautéing, roasting, and grilling. He needs to understand what makes a meal nutritious and how to select dishes that taste well together. He needs to practice separating eggs, making roti, and cutting a perfect carrot flower. Cooking skills are pretty clear. But spiritual skills seem fuzzier. Feelings of disappointment, doubt, and simply being overwhelmed affects your faith. May you be blessed to develop the coping skills you need to strengthen your connection with God.  It isn’t as hard as you think. You can practice good habits one by one—just like you can practice kneading, mixing, and grinding.
What's cooking? You are good looking! Forward the Daily Blessing.

THREE QUESTIONS TO PONDER

1. Finding a Self-Concept of Happiness
How you think about yourself is crucial to your happiness. What is the self-concept that yields happiness, protects against the misery of low self-esteem, and avoids self-centeredness?

2. Facing Stress with Patience, Mindfulness, and Hope
Stress is an impediment to happiness. How can you rise above the everyday worries and frustrations, whether they are about the present or future, and retain your joie du vivre?

3. Learning the Art of Gratitude
Good fortune—wealth, beauty, genius, or power—don’t necessarily lead to more happiness. But is there a way to build joy from your good circumstances? How do you master the art of experiencing the goodness of life?
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind."
God's Grace
Dear Lord please help us with your loving grace to meet the needs of our mission school especially the salaries of our faculty and staff. Bless all the parents of our students and help them in their financial needs to augment the education of their children.
