The story is told of a youngster who came home from Sunday School, having been taught the biblical story of the crossing of the Red Sea. His mother asked him what he had learned in class, and he told her:
"The Israelites got out of Egypt, but Pharaoh and his army chased after them.
The Egyptian army was getting closer, so Moses got out his cell phone, contacted the Israelite air force, which immediately sent fighter planes to fly over
the area and dropped bombs on the Egyptians.
They continued to the Red Sea, but when they got there, they couldn't cross it.
So, Moses called the Israelite navy, which had its engineers build a pontoon bridge over the waters so the people could cross.
And that's how the amazing story of how Moses and the Israelites escaped Egypt."
The mother was shocked, "Is this the way they taught you the story in Sunday School?"
"Heck no!" Said the boy. "But if I told you the story the way my teacher told us, you'd never believe it!"
