Dear God, help me go with the flow. The raging forces that try to suck me in shall not win. The path ahead, lovingly laid out by You, is my direction and destiny.

In this new year, I pray for kindness. The courteous kind. The curious kind. May kindness reign in my heart, may I give it freely without judgment, receive it graciously, no matter who or where it comes from. O, King of Kindness, hear my prayer.

Dear God, We all carry burdens, I know. But could you lighten mine just a little? May the weight upon my shoulders ease, and may I walk tall and straight in this world from this day forward. Thank You, O gracious One who lifts off the load that’s bringing me down.

Dear God, thank You for the joy and celebration as this year comes to a close. I look back on the memories, good and bad, clear as day and some fading fast, yet all tell the story of my life, lived well in Your loving embrace.

Dear God, our world is filled with beauty and order. I thank You. Yet, I crave excitement. The good kind. The type that gets my heart beating a little faster with anticipation of something new and unexpected. Let the adventure begin.

Look at you! God’s beautiful child; strong, graceful, and blessed.

You are at a point where you make your own decisions, and it’s up to you to live with them. May you choose wisely, and may God bless you always.

May God bless you and your house in the new year.

May you be blessed with resilience, persistence, and a firm commitment to this new year and the potential it offers. May God be with you as you walk confidently down the path of righteous living.

May God bless you as you stay the course towards being the best you can be. Break bad habits, make new ones. You’ve got this!
