Dear Prayables Family, Thank you to all for the kind words of encouragement you send to me. I recently received this message from Avy, and I wanted to know more! Here's what she wrote:
Dear Susan, What a wonderful and inspiring site you have and are sharing with the world. In these troubled times everyone needs that beacon of hope and light to shine in the darkest places. I thoroughly enjoy receiving your emails and news.
I live in South Africa and I work amongst the forgotten, lonely and neglected in the community. It is always so beautiful to receive uplifting news. God truly loves each of us and we are to go out and serve as we can. And you do just that perfectly. Thank you so much. I will keep you in my prayers for you continued
work, God bless, Avy
Dear Avy, Thank you for your message. It is pure encouragement to hear that the work I do is meaningful to you. Would you care to tell me more about what you do for your community? I am interested to learn how you serve.
All the best, Susan
Dear Susan, I do counselling and coaching and spend a lot of time doing visitations in homes where many are forgotten and I counsel these precious souls. Its sad to see that families for whatever
reason are simply absent in the lives of many and seldom visit their loved ones.
About 9 years ago a few of us got together and combined our skills to go out and see where we can help to bring about change. As a team we each do something different but together we make a difference. We
live quite far from each other so we choose our areas and work from there but two of our team go beyond our borders to neighbouring countries.
We see so many challenges but we live in a country where its become quite violent and so the challenges grow greater. I go as the Lord leads me and
every day my prayer is "Father what can I do for you today?". I always tell people that when you work for God you are never unemployed. We try to take hope out as our message along with love.
There are many problems that people are facing in today's times and anxiety levels are on
the increase as are addictions. The world grows wary and people are seemingly becoming lost in the noise of it. But God knows where His children are and help is always on the way.
Thanks again for your beautiful and inspiring messages of love,
God Bless, Avy
