I need food, air, and water to survive and love, joy, and sunshine to thrive. Thank You, dear God, for beauty, growth, and renewal.

Dear God, My wishes don’t matter to You, it’s my deeds You care about. I pray my actions and good intentions will lead to Your grace. All praise to You, Almighty God.

The night is darkest just before dawn. Just when I think things can’t get any worse, You, dear God, remind me that they will. You are the light that shines with hope, the voice of encouragement, and the answer to desperate pleas. I am a lucky human to know, trust, and love You.

We are taught to believe that every life hardship leads to greater understanding. You designed it so in Your wisdom, and it’s up to us to find this subtle lesson. Help us, O God, to not only endure the pain but to use it and move on, better, stronger, and closer to You.

God. This prayer is for You. No complaints, questions or petitions. I offer a simple prayer of gratitude. Thank You for Your constant support. You hold me up and set me on my way. You provide, and I prosper. I give thanks to You, God of love, grace, and mercy.

Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance and endurance produces character and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Spirit of God. Romans 5:3-5

He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock

He shields us, cares for us, and guards us as the apple of His eye. Deuteronomy 32:10

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. Ecclesiastes 4:9

I send out the words of my mouth and it always produces ripe fruit. It accomplishes all I want and prospers everywhere I send it. Isaiah 55:11

May your joys be as deep as the ocean, your troubles as light as the foam, and may you find sweet peace of mind wherever you may roam.

Today is your day to move up. To advance to the place you want to be. Look up to God, and you will be blessed.

Look up from your work, from your phone, from your deep concentration and well…yes…your self-involvement. Notice the people around you, the activity of life, and the presence of God. May you be blessed with the power of observation.

God's greatest blessing is your family. Love them with all your heart. They may not be perfect, but they are yours, a gift to cherish.

What if today, you remind yourself that blowing out someone’s candle isn’t going to make yours shine any brighter. May you be blessed to always be the light of generosity.
