Today, I pray for those who can’t, them who don’t, and all who never pray at all. The fallen, the forgotten, the helpless, and more. Please, God, guide them to the light; may they all be alright.

Dear God, Help me move through the days of my life with a steady rhythm, accented by delightful surprise and only brief interruptions of disappointment. May my going forward go easy, and my pauses be steeped in contentment.

I take precious time to listen. It is my gift to God. I do not ask for favor. I expect no reward. I simply open my heart to the One who made me. The One who knows me. The One who assures me that in due time, all good things will come to me.

O Lord. Sea of love and goodness, let me not fear too much the storms and winds of my daily life, and let me know that there is ebb and flow, but that the sea remains the sea. Henri Nouwen

Holy Father, work through me. Balance my bias. Enhance my compassion. Let me see my brothers and sisters as You do; all deserving. Give me a chance to reach out and I will show kindness to those I touch. All praise to You who guides us.

1In days to come the mountain where the Temple stands will be the highest one of all, towering above all the hills. Many nations will come streaming to it, 2and their people will say, “Let us go up the hill of the Lord, to the Temple of Israel’s God. He will teach us what he wants us to do; we will walk in the
paths he has chosen. For the Lord’s teaching comes from Jerusalem; from Zion he speaks to his people.” 3 He will settle disputes among the nations, among the great powers near and far. They will hammer their swords into plows and their spears into pruning knives. Nations will never again go to war, never prepare for battle again. 4 Everyone will live in peace among their own vineyards and fig trees, and no one will make them afraid. The Lord Almighty has promised this. 5Each nation worships and
obeys its own god, but we will worship and obey the Lord our God forever and ever.

Proverbs 31:26 When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.

Amos 5:14-15 Hate evil. Love what is good. Wait. Trust. Pray. The courts of our land will be true halls of justice. Lord show mercy on Your people.

James 1:27 I refuse to let the world corrupt me.

May we all be blessed to respect and honor our past and present leaders while we pray they will make right decisions based on God’s Word, with wisdom and good intentions.

You don’t know if it will work until you give it a try. May you be blessed to take chances today. Surprise yourself.

Don’t let anyone take you back to the place you prayed your way out of. Stay strong. May God bless and protect you.

What if you pretended to be more charismatic, more confident, or more competent? What if you pretended to be optimistic about what’s going to happen next, even if you’re not sure? You just might be blessed with the outcome you’re hoping for when you pretend.

Never forget on your best days that God still needs to hear from you as often as He does on your worst days. Be a blessing. Praise God in your joy and you will be joyous every day.
