What the Pope is saying, is that all religions serve as a path to God. It is a universal truth. For God in His Infinite Wisdom, knows your heart, and if you are a true seeker of Him. And, the reason our search for Love in this life is so strong is because we all come from God the Creator, who is pure LOVE, being separated from that LOVE, we feel that loss and try to find a way to fulfill it.
