Anger is a punishment you give to yourself. Why keep the misery going on any longer than you must? Be patient in a moment of anger and let the calm follow. May God bless you with self-control and the gift of forgiveness.

Go where your own good nature takes you. God is your guide. May you be blessed to follow your instincts – in turn you are walking the path of the Divine.

Here’s some wise advice an oldtimer might share with you; don’t throw a punch at a redwood tree it will only hurt your hand. The same goes for you. When you throw an emotional punch at something immovable in yourself, it only hurts your heart. May God bless you with peaceful living.

Someone is going to win the lottery and it probably won’t be you. Plan accordingly. Hard work, thoughtful saving and judicious spending is the way to financial success. May God bless you with the will and the way to prosperity.

Screwing up is not the worst thing in the world. It’s much worse if you never tried at all. May God bless you with effort and daring. May you know how to pick yourself up and try again. May you be okay with mistakes and failure and use them as ways to improve. That’s all anyone wants. That’s all God wants.

Dear God, the sun is shining, the air is fresh, and the earth is in transition. I look around and see Your presence everywhere—in the carpet of leaves you lay under my feet, in the waning light of early sunset, in everything I took for granted yesterday. Today, I am flush with Your beauty, and I will share it with the world.

In the darkness of awakening, before I open my eyes to the new day, I find You, dear God. With lids still closed, my focus is You. My prayer is gratitude. Praise to You who graces me with another day of sacred living.

Open my eyes that I may see all Your blessings in a new and more profound way. May my faith be strong and lead me to see the world like a child, never blind to Your wonder. May I look at everyday life as a gift knowing that it is meant to be received with a sacred sense of awe. Thank You God for a visionary Spirit of love.

Dear God, Tell me a secret. Share a mystery, explain a complicated life lesson. Confide in me. I am waiting to know, not just for myself, but for the others who wait in darkness and search in wrong places. Entrust me with knowledge and I will carry Your message.

Our world is ever changing. As it changes, everything appears to speed up – double time, triple time, shrunken in time. Yet You and me have this time together. Suspended in time. Sacred in time. Bringing to light the beauty in change and the acceptance of it. Thanks and Praise to You, keeper of time.
