Our world is ever changing. As it changes, everything appears to speed up – double time, triple time, shrunken in time. Yet You and me have this time together. Suspended in time. Sacred in time. Bringing to light the beauty in change and the acceptance of it. Thanks and Praise to You, keeper of time.

Romans 8:28 I know God works for the good of all. And so, I hold some things lighter, care more deeply for what really matters, and let go of unimportant things.

Screwing up is not the worst thing in the world. It’s much worse if you never tried at all. May God bless you with effort and daring. May you know how to pick yourself up and try again. May you be okay with mistakes and failure and use them as ways to improve. That’s all anyone wants. That’s all God wants.

COOKIES

The afternoon was drawing to a close, and the guests were getting ready to leave.

“Sally,” said one of the ladies. “I just wanted to tell you that your cookies were so delicious I ate four of them.”

“You ate five,” responded Sally. “But who’s counting?”
