May you be blessed to know when to strive for more and better and when to be content with who you are and what you have. Living peaceably is a Godly thing to do.

There comes a time when you realize you’re running the race for the joy and glory of long strides and a steady pace. May you be blessed to cross the finish line with a full heart and gratitude to the One who brought you there.

Someone is grateful right now for the blessing you are to them.

My schedule is packed, my nerves are frayed, my head says go, my heart says stay. Loving God, can You give me a pace that I can keep up with? Grace comes with taking one step at a time. Peace comes with knowing that You are not pushing me to great heights. Instead, You are gently nudging me towards exactly where I need to be when I calmly do what needs
to be done.

The older I get, the more I realize how important it is to accept the fact that some people will never change. I have lived long enough to see that meddling in the affairs of others is a bad idea. I am not the fixer, but You are, O Lord. You raise the lowly and humble the mighty.

Dear God, help me offer grace, not condemnation, to those I love. When I see him choosing the wrong path, may only gentle words leave my lips. When I see her choosing wrong companions, let me be there for her when consequences come. You know where their choice will lead, and I am comforted that You are always with them, helping them learn from
mistakes and bad choices. Blessed are You, who gives guidance to my loved ones.

Dear God, no matter how the winds blow, You are here. In every circumstance, You are here. You are with me in joy and sadness. In my peaceful state and when I am distraught. Thank You for Your ever-Presence.

Dear God, Help me to lay down the worries that distract me from Your greatness.
