5 MINUTES
The religious scholar’s daily schedule, which did not change in over forty years, was formidable.
Besides reading and answering hundreds of letters a day, reviewing and editing publications, fulfilling appointments well into the evening, and praying and studying, he also delivered talks that often lasted into the early morning hours.
One morning, he asked what time a particular prayer was to begin and was told it would be either 9:10 or 9:15.
“Which one is it?” the scholar asked. “In five minutes, so much can be accomplished.”
