MINUTE IN THE MIDDLE

When her employer approached her, she had taken a break from her work and was reading from the book of Psalms.

“Why are you reading suddenly in the middle of work?” he asked.

“If it doesn’t bother anyone that in the middle of praying I can think about work, then surely I can think about praying for a minute in the middle of work.” the woman replied.

PRAY FOR NEIGHBORS

Lord, we pray for our neighbors. Help them, guide them to understand and be considerate of the other residents living in the same building. We forgive them Lord, give us patience and strength Lord. Lord, we pray.
