It was right after the basketball game in 1962 when Wilt Chamberlain famously scored 100
points. A reporter asked a team member who had scored only 2 points how the game would be remembered in history.
Without hesitation, Wilt's teammate answered, “Tonight will be remembered for all of history as the night that Wilt and I combined to score 102 points.”
While I can't confirm the veracity of the humorous reply, I do know that there's a lesson here for all of us.
Let others have their due glory. Be a team player who gives credit where credit is due.
