There was even a cooler crisp in the air this morning as I slipped on my sweater and walked outside - a lovely welcome to fall. As fall approaches, I'm slowing down from the flurry of summer's schedule and putting things to bed.

This is the season of cozy fires, brilliant colors, and rich, warm and spicy flavors. It's time to reconnect indoors and welcome more intimate gatherings with friends and family. It's time to look back at all you've done and be thankful for the approaching time of rest.
