For years, Peter Ellenstein never considered himself dad material. He is a 60-year-old resident of Los Angeles, an actor and stage director, who was short on money during the 1980s and ’90s and made cash by selling his sperm. His good looks and artistic background made his sperm a popular choice among people looking for a donor. He biologically fathered dozens of kids, not a singularly high number for the time.

Like most of the men who sold sperm, it was nothing more than a business transaction — Peter had his own life to live and for years ignored what happened to his seed after he got paid. He felt no need to raise children, although he was open to fatherhood if kids were important to his partner. ORGAN DONOR CALL FOR HELP

I am in a position medically that I need as many prayers as possible. 

In Dec of 2020 I was diagnosed with COVID-19 and was hospitalized for 11 days. That caused an acute kidney injury. I was very careful to take care of my body to keep it healthy. I

n Feb 2022 I started a medical journey that came about in a blink of an eye. I went into the ER with chest pain and ended up having a heart catheration and a kidney dialysis access port installed surgically at the same time, waking up in ICU having my first dialysis treatment. It was very overwhelming but very life saving.

Now being on kidney dialysis for some months, it is keeping me alive but also is very hard on your other organs. I am in the process of being put on a kidney transplant list.

I am very emotional on some days because a gift of life could be given with a living donor but I need my story and need to be heard by the most people in order to find a kidney match for me. I have been an organ donor since I was 15 years old.

I am so fatigued all of the time which is causing me to slow down. I can't do what I used to at all and all I want is just to have my life back again. I just want to live! I am A- blood type. 

Please, I need prayers that God speaks to someone that can be a kidney organ donor for me. We all have 2 kidneys and only need 1 to live. 

God will speak thru me in this journey. It will only be because of God's guidance that I will get a kidney and then His glory will be praised and awareness to the need for organ donation. 

The night time is very rough, but I believe the morning will bring hope. Every day God wakes me up is another day I praise God for his promises made to me and the direction I must live. Amen
