Dear God, We turn to You on this day of festive celebration, asking You to keep our children safe. Be a shield of protection, light their way, preserve their innocence, and
shower them with treats for the soul.

Dear God, I search for inner peace, a restful soul, and a heart without turmoil. I pray for Your calm to envelop me. I pray for a way to get out of my own way and let You in.

Holy Father, hold me in Your strong arms and gently stroke my hair, kiss my brow, stand back and look at me in Your loving way, so that I may know I am adored, valued, and
blessed by Your love.

My struggles are real, my reaction is measured, and I rise to the occasion. Thank You dear God for being with me, reminding me, urging me to meet the challenge head-on, with
strength and confidence in myself, and with gratitude to You.

When I hide from You I am a coward. When I reveal myself to You I am bold and brave. I am here now, stripped of disguise, open, vulnerable with hat in hand, asking Your
forgiveness, waiting patiently for Your grace. I am ready.
